The Origin of Akvárium Klub and Erzsébet tér's Gödör Space

The unique space on Erzsébet tér, known as the Gödör, was initially designated for a new National Theater at the end of the 20th century, and a tender was announced for its construction. However, a different site was ultimately chosen for the theater project. Subsequently, the Gödör Klub occupied this space. Following the Gödör Klub's operation, the Akvárium Klub began functioning in the very same space.
